About the organisation
Khalsa Education Society Inc is a registered Sikh community education organisation based in Epping, Victoria. The organisation promotes awareness of Sikh identity, culture, and values, helping to reduce stereotypes and misconceptions within the wider community.
Through workshops, events and weekly children’s cultural classes, Khalsa Education Society Inc connects Australian-born and migrant children and youth with Sikh history, culture and heritage. The organisation also runs Turban Awareness programs and Langar Awareness activities to engage multicultural communities and share the Sikh values of equality, service and inclusion. Through education, cultural learning and community awareness, Khalsa Education Society Inc supports children, youth, families, migrants and culturally diverse communities across Victoria.
